Original is mixed medium of oil and pastel on a 22" x 28" canvas. A beautiful depiction of Jesus walking on water. The empty boat symbolizes where we would stand and where we need to have faith to step on waves not yet walked on.

We see this story in the four Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. However, in prayer and reflection of this story, I was lead to Psalms 107. Psalms 107:23-32. I was in awe.

As I was studying this, I didn't know the revelation would be for the woman who commissioned me for a Holy Spirit lead painting. Later that evening of the revelation, I heard the Lord speak to me "it's time.". I still didn't know the revelation would correlate with the painting, but I knew that it was time to do her painting. Finally after we both waited patiently on the Lord for about a month and a half, it was time to begin.

The next day as I was beginning, I just started to thoughtlessly paint yellow everywhere. Miraculously, I could already see the waves, a ship, and where Jesus would be. I kept praying for guidance and confirmation as I did not want to paint anything other than what he had for her. All through out the process, it was confirmed this revelation was for this painting and for the woman who would receive it.
