This one is dear to my heart as the testimony is nothing short of incredible and miraculous. A man had asked me to paint a picture for an orphanage in Uganda. This day was something special, as I began to pray like I had never before, I was engulfed in the Holy Spirit. To this day, it is one of the most amazing encounters I have had with the Holy Spirit.

However, the painting you see here is not the painting that was done for the orphanage. I began that one, but as I was encountering the Holy Spirit, I had to step away from that one and submit to whatever it was I was to really paint in that moment.

At the time of painting this, I didn't correlate it at all with the man who had commissioned the piece for Uganda. Not till he came to pick up the one I did paint per his request.

When he and his wife came to get it, I wanted to share this one with them. I was so excited to tell them the background story of it. In that moment, this man was brought to tears and said to his wife "it's that boy!". He then began to share an incredible testimony of a boy who had tied himself up and beaten himself, but was later delivered, set free, and baptized. The way the hands are held is exactly how he described the way they had been holding on to each other during prayer and deliverance.

I painted this before their encounter. As he holds that testimony dear to his heart, he prayed he would somehow have something tangible of that boy and miracle to always remember. Praise God, with this painting, his prayer was answered.

Such an incredible testimony and evidence that God knows what we will want and need long before we do.
